The centrepiece of the exhibition in Berlin is a riveted steel boat called "Flieger", which served to carry materials during the expansion of the city in the 1920s. In the exhibition, it serves as the medium for Rütimann’s video project from Venice.

Similar to Rütimann’s handrails, which were on display last year in the exhibition Linie, the boat films explore the city from unique angles. Rütimann guides his camera along the boat’s edges and grooves on Venice’s waterways and leaves behind a sort of trail.
